Happy New Year 2021
|When I asked the Lord to give me a word for year 2021, I heard “2020 was a year of interruptions, 2021 will be a year of eruptions.” Change was forced on us through Covid-19 that has turned our world upside down, heralding a new era. We had to revalue ourselves, our lives and our future in the face of all the turmoil. As the Lord began to untangle the things that are no longer relevant for the new era, we had to step out. This was a huge wake up call for the Body of Christ who has been content to live far beneath God’s original purpose for us, exposing so much of what is at the core of who we are individually and collectively. We were also reminded of His sovereignty, that nothing happens on the world stage that cannot be redeemed according to His knowledge and purpose. In spite of all the changes, what remains unchanged is God our Father. He never changes and His plans stand forever. We will never face anything in life without a promise strong enough to make us overcomers in all things. Paul said “We are children of promise” (Galatians 4:28). This not a time to lose our grip on God’s promises but to ask the Holy Spirit to reveal present truth and make it alive in our heart and align with Him.“Let all the earth fear the Lord; Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him. For He spoke, and it was done. He commanded, and it stood firm. The Lord nullifies the plan of nations; He frustrates the plans of peoples. The plan of the Lord stands forever, The plans of His heart from generation to generation”|
(Psalm 33:8-11)New Times And SeasonsNew era – New life! 2021 marks the beginning of great change internationally, nationally, politically and spiritually. I sense this will be a year of fresh outbreak that will erupt a sequence of a new reality for the advancement of the kingdom of God. He has chosen you and me to be alive and to be part of the plans of His heart, “for such a time as this”. Although God never changes, He does change the times and the seasons (Daniel 2:21). He is moving us into a new season, one that is changing our paradigm from church-centered to Kingdom-centered. A journey from religion to relationship, growing as a group in the gospel of the kingdom for the purpose of seeing the “Kingdoms of this world becoming the kingdoms of our Lord” (Revelation 11:15).
The last season’s strategies does not fit anymore because that is literally the case. The enemy may want you to feel lost, rejected and demoted; but instead, it’s the old times and seasons that are being discarded. The sense of displacement you may feel or have felt is the sign to you that God wants you. We are being promoted into a new reality and God intends to release millions of believers into the earth to expand His kingdom and bring in the end-time harvest. To do this, He is shaking everything by recalibrating religious structures, challenging hierarchal systems and revealing to the saints their identity and purpose in Christ Jesus.
This epoch of God’s Kingdom consists of multiple layers of endless revelation. Our spiritual senses will increase. There are things that have not yet appeared in their visible form, but currently exist in the eternal realm of God’s Kingdom. They are ours to discover as we continue not only to align with Him but also conquer the forces of darkness that try to hinder us from becoming involved in the dimension of life already established by God our Father.New Rumbling SoundGod is in control and His plan for us far exceeds the circumstances of our day. On the surface things may still look in turmoil but underneath there’s a rumbling sound of the glory of God that’s about to erupt into the last trumpeting sound of the Ekklesia. It’s a sound of the supremacy of the Anointed One. The ongoing sounds on earth will eventually fade beneath new sounds from heaven. He rules His Kingdom from above. Jesus said we should pray, “Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven”. He reminds us that our primary objective is to first line up our will with the will of our Father in heaven. His laws and decisions are not subject to the vote or approval of any of those over whom He rules. It has nothing to do with some religious observances or joining certain organization or even an ideology or religion imposed by some in the institutional church. Our Father, in Christ, adopted us into His family. Love came into the world to redeem what man could not and to restore the family relationship back to God. Even Jesus used the language of family when He taught his disciples to pray: “Our Father in heaven”. New Reality Is About To Erupt In The Body Of ChristIs it possible that after all this time we are beginning to realize that we have not been preaching the same gospel that Jesus preached? Jesus preached the gospel of the Kingdom. The Holy Spirit is bringing to the forefront the true identity of the church to alter and align the Body of Christ to the plans of His heart from generation to generation. He’s been shining His revelatory light on what “Jesus said He will build” (Matthew 16:18). We have embraced and continued a culture around a single word “Church”. A word that was deliberately mistranslated by the authority of King James. A word never spoken by Jesus Christ. That word did not even exist until the fifth century or 400 AD.
Jesus never said I will build my “kuriakon” a Greek word for church. Jesus said I will build my “ekklesia”, a word found more than 100 times throughout the bible. The word church was substituted for ekklesia. The facts show us that church is not the proper translation of ekklesia. This new reality will bring an outburst reformation to what the conventional church systems have been teaching; what the church is “supposed” to be like. It’s never been about agenda. It’s always been about purpose. This message has been suppressed for centuries, robbing the Body of Christ of its true identity in Christ and purpose in this world. The Holy Spirit is highlighting this present truth which is truly a journey of revelation of who we are and discovering what Jesus said He would build. (John 16:13) This is our spiritual DNA! My question is: how are going to stay true to this innovation?
