Graham Cooke said: “What if there are no problems, what if there are only possibilities?” Someone may feel totally weak or powerless in the face of challenges and contradictions. However the Lord is the everlasting God and our crisis does not deplete God. He longs for us to discover our own completeness and perfection as seen from His point of view. He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength. [Isaiah 40:29]
The heart of the good news that brings great joy to us is that God has achieved in his love initiative to cancel every description of defeat, distance and separation. This is so much more than mere knowledge; it is a revelation of His completeness and our redeemed innocence, which brings us into a place of rest. We cannot become more than what we already are in Christ. We do not grow more complete; we simply grow in the knowledge of our completeness. [See Col 3:10] We have already been liberated in the finished work of Christ, in order to live “from” His completeness!
I like what Jane Hansen Hoyt said: “We can step into our truest identity by seeing with new spiritual lenses”. Our mind is engineered to be compatible with our Maker’s thoughts about us. We have the mind of Christ! Jesus has come to introduce humanity to their true origin. Our capabilities of hearing and seeing beyond the horizon of the senses are ignited thru the truth of knowing who we already are by his design and redemption. Realizing his presence and provision within us; is the secret of our strength and what sets us free to be who we are redeemed to be.
