Living in the reality of God
“For You are my lamp, O Lord; And the Lord illumines my darkness.” (2 Samuel 22:29)
Personally, I am learning a whole new dimension for life that is adjusting my heart to the heart of God in profound ways. No matter what situation I may face, I find myself being delivered out of old religious mindsets and totally being captured by the love of God as He illumines my darkness with a Kingdom reality. I am discovering that the Kingdom is more important than Church, because the Church can only come through the Kingdom so that we have this expression of the culture of heaven coming down into this world around us. His Kingdom reality turns every other reality upside down. Every day I find myself having to make choices…“do I stay a believer that is occupied with the religious and natural world?” or “do I make the journey all the way into the supernatural lifestyle God preordained for me to walk in?”
In this process God takes up residence in our lives, no wonder Jesus said in Matthew 6:33 Seek ye first the kingdom of God…I am learning that life did not begin in the Garden of Eden. The Kingdom of God pre-existed before the foundation of our world. Genesis 1:1… in the beginning God created the heavens…Jesus had glory with the Father before the six days of creation. In John 17:4-5 He said: I glorified you on earth by finishing the work you gave me to do. Now, father, glorify me alongside yourself. Give me the same glory I had with you before the world existed. Jesus came to demonstrate what the kingdom was like in the midst of an ungodly culture. His lifestyle challenged the standards of the community. The Kingdom has a culture and Jesus gave expression to the Kingdom by living it on earth as it is in heaven. Paul said: On the contrary, we are communicating a secret wisdom from God, which has been hidden until now but which, before history began, God had decreed would bring us glory. 1 Cor. 5:7 CJB
God established mankind in Christ before He lost us in Adam. Mankind was to exhibit the glory of God on the earth. God’s design for creation was neither secular nor religious. His first priority was to establish His Kingdom culture. We are known in heaven as people of a different spirit and we have to live up to it, if we are to arise and fulfill His eternal plan to this generation.
