| Time of Increase This time of the year we are already seeing with our eyes and ears something that God put within the very atmosphere and soil of the Earth. First, as we listen with our windows open, we hear all kinds of birds chirping and for me here -honking etc. [geese] Life is happening visibly and audibly all around us. Yesterday while driving home from an outreach in Winnipeg, I saw a farmer taking his first crop of hay off the fields. We are seeing the seeds we have sown in our gardens begin to germinate and pop out of the ground. Just outside of our house, huge fields of grain growing. When God created the Earth, He put within it and us the ability to multiply. We too were created to abound, to increase and to grow. Even the cells in our bodies divide to multiply. The Law of Growth Marvin Vincent says this: “Spiritual fruitfulness requires an honest and good heart. Similarly, the law of growth as set forth in the parable of the Mustard Seed, is a law common to nature and to the kingdom of God. The great forces in both kingdoms are germinal, enwrapped in small seeds which unfold from within by an inherent power of growth.” Vincent, Marvin. Word Studies in the New Testament. Titus Books. Kindle Edition. God even calls us His planting. We are a seed that multiplies for His glory. Look at this verse: Isaiah 61:3 “…. that they may be called oaks of righteousness [lofty, strong, and magnificent, distinguished for uprightness, justice, and right standing with God], the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.” AMP The Nature of God The nature of God is: He is a multiplier. Therefore, it stands to reason that we are a multiplier too. [As He is, so are we 1 John 4:17b] We only have to look at what is happening in the world and realize Satan is trying to stop the multiplication. Persecution, abortion, wokeism etc proves this. So, when we speak, words become seed. Just look at Matthew 13 to see the impact of this. What we do are like seeds that are meant to multiply and with that “ruling” as Kingdom people. Gen 1:28 “God blessed them; and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” NASU We are not meant to remain alone just as one seed as it states in John. John 12:24 “I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.” NASU The Season of Increase If we do not speak, nothing is planted. If we do not act, nothing is planted. If we do not give nothing is planted. If we only protect the seed and not sow it there is no Kingdom increase. It is just like the man who did not know the Lord and was afraid and hid his talent. He was afraid. He feared lack. He did not know the God who multiplies. [Matthew 25:25] Fear in him remained alive. He did not know that if He spoke on behalf of the Lord multiplication would happen. If he invested what God gave him, it would increase. If he applied Kingdom principles in his life multiplication happened. When we die to this fear, then faith will grow in God! There is a time for sowing and a time for reaping. We are in a season of increase. This principle that God put in creation works. Therefore, speak the word of the Lord! Work the principles of the Kingdom. Deal with the fear that holds back the planting. Confront it! Prove the Kingdom! Know the Lord is for us and not against us. His Kingdom Come S. Darlene Smith 7 Years of Increase 2023-2029 I bring this word to us as an exhortation as we have entered a very prophetic season biblically. We entered a season of shift in the month of May as we all engaged globally with Isaiah 62 fast, and we are to choose to begin to live with a totally new mindset. A mindset of abundance is what is required of us in this season; and that is not limited to our finances but every area of our lives. Mindset shift is part of our next kingdom move individually and corporately. God is so willing to pour out upon us ALL that is needed to advance His Kingdom, the treasure rooms of heaven is filled with so much more than we can ask , think or imagine. This is our time to draw upon the storehouses of heaven as we renew our mind in areas of finances , areas of provision of the miracles that is waiting to be unleashed. Christ centric is where we are to be now and in the future. That is living from Christ having Supremacy in all things. From generation to generation to generation, the First Fruit Blessing remains. It remains on your house. What does house mean – it means your family: your children and grandchildren and great grandchildren and children yet to be born. It’s mothers, fathers, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins…your WHOLE extended family. Whatever you are believing for when you plant your First Fruits Offering will remain and include your whole family.
