There are many methods, both secular and Christian, for developing a picture of our personal identities that can help us understand ourselves on a natural level. The GameChanger revelation that Graham Cooke has shared through Aglow goes beyond these natural-world tools and directs us to see ourselves as God sees us. We learn how to uncover identity themes within the prophetic words we’ve received over the years, our personalized heritage scriptures, our prophetic dreams, etc., and through them develop our identity statement – a living document to build upon and embrace as our true identity, that is, how we are known in Heaven.
When we study it, read it out loud to ourselves and others, and practice it, we begin to believe it. When we accept and believe our true identity, our perception, thinking, and language change. When we see ourselves this way, others begin to know us as we are known in Heaven and respond to us differently as well.
This is the doorway and key to becoming a game changer.
Going through the sessions in the GameChangers book initiates a fresh perspective on scriptures we’ve read for years and things we thought we understood: the mind of Christ, fruit of the Spirit, Christ in me, praying with God instead of with One who is out there somewhere (busy? out of town?).
