THE APOSTOLIC GENERATION
Many are presently awakening to the realization that salvation is not simply about securing a place in the afterlife. It carries the reality that we have been given the opportunity to occupy the earth in order to influence its culture and transform the world here and now.
Jesus announced, “The Kingdom of God is at hand” (Mark 1:15), meaning that the Kingdom was inaugurated with His own ministry and was being made present in the hearts and lives of those who trusted Him. And yet, the Kingdom is also something we continue to anticipate: its fullness will come when God completely renews creation and removes all evil.
Jesus, our Great Apostle, came from Heaven to establish the Kingdom of God on earth as it is in Heaven. He established an apostolic company and sent them into the earth to advance the Kingdom and demonstrate a heavenly culture. The emphasis was not simply on spreading information about salvation, but on announcing the reign and rule of God—the very Kingdom that Jesus Himself embodied and proclaimed.
Jesus said about His disciples, “As [the Father] sent [apostello] Me into the world, I have sent [apostello] them into the world” (John 17:18).
What if the version of Christianity you accepted came with hidden limits? What if your faith was shaped by human traditions that quietly capped your calling and dulled your purpose? We are awakening to the realization that we were born into the Kingdom of God; yet somewhere along the way, many of us became lost in religion. Now, Heaven has released a prophetic invitation to realignment, to return to God’s original design.
God is moving according to His divine design. He is raising up a people who represent the interests of His Kingdom. The times may have changed, but the original pattern remains foundational. The reality of Christ’s Kingdom is already breaking into our present world from the future, and He is calling us to become an apostolic people who embody that reality now.
This apostolic reformation that the Body of Christ is presently experiencing is not merely organizational; it is transformational. It is an invitation to rediscover our Kingdom identity, return to Kingdom family, embrace relational leadership, and learn again what it means to walk together as the Ekklesia Jesus is building.
God is ready to pour His blessings upon those who align with His purposes in this season. Alignment begins with putting God and His plans before ours. It is positioning our hearts, thinking, relationships and actions to align with His will. It is a people coming into alignment with their King—His heart, His purposes, and His heavenly pattern—so that His Kingdom can be expressed through His people in the earth.
Aglow is committed to aligning with the longing of God’s heart and to propelling Jesus’ Kingdom forward. Although we are still young and in a formative season, everything we do through the ministry of Aglow is intended to help us become part of an apostolic generation, one that will not simply proclaim another way of living but will embody the culture of Heaven; a generation that will not only turn the world upside down but will help reshape the cultures of this world with the culture of Heaven.
