The Shoes that Fit
Erin and I were praying and we believe we are to have a zoom call to pray for Quebec this Tuesday at 2pm mountain time. When I went to look at the calendar the prayer date was on Oct 20, 2020. I thought, Wow God! You have my attention.
I looked up in the Strong’s Concordance the number 2020 (hats-tsaw-law’ ) and found that it means deliverance. The number 2020 only shows up in one place in scripture and that is in Esther 4:14, “For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?” This is a familiar scripture for us in Aglow. Esther went from rags to riches, from poverty to the palace. She was the wife of King Xerxes which made her a woman of influence, power and courage. Esther was jolted from comfort and awakened to her purpose in a moment. Divine intervention, Esther hits the reset button aligning heaven to earth for such a time!
One of my favourite children’s stories was Cinderella. She too walked out her destiny with designer shoes that could only fit her. In 2007, Robert Stern gave a word for Aglow, “There is a shift coming in the nations of the earth. There is a new breed of believers rising up in this hour. Now is the time for Aglow to possess the land. What you have been through is only been preparation for what is coming upon you”. This is your finest moment, your finest hour. We are stepping in and walking out our corporate identity. These shoes were made to fit us. Shoes of destiny designed to walk in boldness, in courage, in greatness and dominion authority.
