Following Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection, He revealed Himself to his disciples whom he loved very much. He knew that He was leaving them and wanted them to know that they had been trained and equipped to go into all of the world to share the good news of the Kingdom! Although He wouldn’t be with them physically, He promised to send the Holy Spirit to lead, guide and comfort them in the days ahead which would be both exciting and challenging. They had lived with the “Word” for three years and heard the Word, now it was time for them to exercise their faith and move forward into their identity and destiny.
Mark 16: 14 to 20 “Later He appeared to the eleven as they sat at the table; and He rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen Him after He had risen. And He said to him or her: “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved, but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God. And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. A-men.”
Prayer and Evangelism are two foundational pillars of Aglow International. Prayer is the key which moves the Heart of God and unlocks the resources of heaven. We need God’s wisdom, revelation knowledge, discernment and direction as we strengthen Prayer and Evangelism in Aglow International Canada. John 4:35 says, “Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white to harvest!” Isaiah 6:8 reads: “Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: Whom shall I send. And who will go for Us? Then I said, Here am I! Send me.” We are ambassadors of the King of Kings, marching forward to transform the atmosphere and build Kingdom communities! Is God calling you to be a harvester, a transformer and a builder?
Prayer Points:
Begin your prayer and intercession this month using the Aglow International Global Prayer targets for May: “Lord, we are Your apostolic prophetic watchmen decreeing Your Majesty in the earth! We fully step into the identity of Your call upon us. Lord we carry Your breaker anointing in the earth to open the way for Your fullness in our nation.”
We give thanks and praise as we see Your Hand on the past elections in Israel and Alberta. We continue to Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem, Psalm 122. “Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”
Pray and intercede for the upcoming Canadian election in the Fall of 2019. God keep our land glorious and free!
Air Supremacy Declarations for Venezuela. Declare Grace upon the mountains; ease the suffering of the people; political and economic breakthrough; revival in the nation.
Pray for Nigeria: For our Canadian Aglow leaders who are currently ministering in the north of the country; for an end to the slaughter of Christians.

Pray for the organizers, the speakers, the venue, travel protection, for release from personal and employment responsibilities, and for the distribution of heaven’s resources and blessings for all who plan to attend.
Intercede and declare God’s Perfect wisdom, revelation knowledge, Shalom, health and protection over Danyele Bloom Holtner, our national president and the national team as they travel and minister in Canada and abroad. We agree with Jane Hansen Hoyt’s declaration over the ministry. “And there was none feeble among them.” Psalm 105:37
Pray for an increase of “Faith” in our Aglow leaders and partners. Faith that prayer and evangelism will increase; Kingdom communities will be established; the number of leaders and intercessors will increase; Generations young people will have the desire to join the prayer movement in Canada; may the sound of heaven be released in our land! We call forth the intercessors and evangelists!
