Something very significant is happening in our Nation regarding what God intends for Canada. We received an invitation to join the many streams of the body of Christ for a time to pray for our Nation.  Please read the letter below from Wanda Fost, National Prayer Liaison.   I encourage you to participate in any of the options presented.

It is a blessing and an honour for Aglow International Canada to join the twenty-plus participating ministries to pray for the “As One” gathering in Ottawa – August 7 to 10.  When we stand on the prayer wall with others from across the Nation we are answering Jesus’ prayer in John 17:11, and also Psalm 133:1 – 3 where God promises that He will command the blessing when we come together in unity.  We are the Lord’s apostolic prophetic watchmen decreeing God’s Majesty in the earth!  We carry the breaker anointing to open the way for His Fullness in Canada and the Nations.

As One Canada Prayer
“You are the light of the world. A city situated on a hill cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and puts it under a basket, but rather on a lampstand, and it gives light for all who are in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.” (Matthew 5:14-16)

Our Nation is hungry for the Lord to reveal Himself.  On August 7- 10, many streams of the body of Christ will come together in Ottawa to lay aside our unique foci and seek God as a one body. Although we each have unique callings and concerns, this is a time to allow the Lord to align our hearts under the primary desire of Jesus that we will love one another as He has loved us, and to look for a unity that reflects the relationship between the persons of the trinity.

The desire of our hearts is to establish spiritual unity and love for one another through prayer prior to coming together physically in Ottawa.

We would like to invite you to join us and we have many ways of how you can be apart of As One Canada Prayer.

 BOOTS ON THE GROUND

Praying onsite in your community is one of the most powerful means of spiritual warfare available to us. It tills the ground in preparation to absorb the coming rain.

We are asking you to consider doing prayer walks in your neighbourhood. If you can’t walk, then drive. If you can’t drive, then pray over a map. If you don’t have a map then wander the streets in prayer from your memory. Pour the perfume of prayer over your community in any way that you are able.

We also would love for you to take pictures and post them on social media so that we can encourage each other.
