The first Aglow I experienced was in the city of North Bay, Ontario. While we were on our outreach trip in May of this year, we sensed that we had some inheritances to claim while we were there. I had spent nine years of my life in this region. We claimed the inheritance and the right to it through declarations. There was a well of the Spirit there that was given by the Lord and we could possess it.
The word given to us at our last National conference in Edmonton was to go where it was raining. It was raining in this region on this trip. Our declarations had borne fruit. There was Game Changer groups functioning and a new area team had emerged.
We are happy to report that God has raised up a three member team, [so far], in the Northeastern Ontario region. We would like to introduce Karen Latimer as president, Pat Allan as leadership development and Ellen Daly as team administrator. These leaders know the Lord deeply and are constantly influencing and reaching out to the region. They are well able to carry out the work of Aglow.
Our National President was able to join us on this outreach as this was her home territory as well. It was good to see Danyele take part in the presentation of what Aglow’s identity is now in this season.
It was fun to teach “shot gun” style. Remi, Danyele, Shelley and I brought the word spontaneously on the message of identity and ecclesia over the weekend. Overall we felt the impact of the theme “Ignite!” You could sense a real move of God that is ripe in this region.
At the beginning of the outreach the team went to the Bruce Peninsula area to Wiarton and Owen Sound. We did initial outreaches in both places and did proclamations of the Kingdom there. In Owen Sound we staked the ground for the Lord. Owen Sound is the place of the Underground Railroad that freed slaves from the States. We sensed it was known in Heaven as a place of freedom. At the meeting there was interest in game changers and those that signed up to take the course. In Wiarton we met a great group of people who love their town and are continuing to trust God for the destination of their area. We were well received there.
Overall, the Kingdom was advanced, His presence was so precious and were privileged to enjoy the journey.
